Made in Portugal.
Barro Preto, black clay, is found in the northern region of Portugal. High temperature along with the length of time of each firing in the kiln results in a deep carbonization of the earthenware, giving the finished piece its graphite black appearance. This type of firing leads to idaal bakeware pieces, able to withstand roasting at high degrees. Flavors are enhanced with the porous quality of the unglazed clay, as a steaming affect occurs as well as the seasoning of the clay over time. Meant to be serving dishes straight from oven to table. Roasting Pan dimensions: 7" w x 12.5" l x 2" h
CARE
