This noble matte rosa terra cotta pot is inspired by pottery made for the Royal Danish Palace of Fredensborg in 1860. Made by hand, Berg's their potters are made in small family-owned workshops, keeping the old traditions alive.  Each pot is glazed the old-fashioned way, individually and by hand.  Drainage hole in center.  Comes with saucer.

CARE

• Ensure proper drainage: Do not let the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot become clogged. If water accumulates and freezes, the expansion can cause the pot to crack.
• Elevate your pot: Use pot feet, small rocks, or wooden blocks to raise the pot at least 2 cm off the ground. This allows excess water to drain away before it freezes.
• Remove saucers: Take off the saucer during the winter months so that water doesn't pool and freeze underneath the pot.
• Insulate larger pots: In areas with extreme cold, consider adding an insulating layer of bubble wrap, fleece, or burlap around larger pots for extra protection.
