This set of six Laguiole handmade steak knives are crafted with a satin - brushed stainless steel handle. The "Guillochée" pattern is Fontenille-Pataud's premium range: in addition to the classical finition, these knives have a fully chiseled blade. Each blade is forged from one single piece of Z40C13 stainless steel. Care for properly, these knives will become cherished heirlooms. Sold as a set of six knives presented in a refined wooden box.
Fontenille-Pataud was founded in 1929. It quickly became recognized as a manufacturer of high-end table knives admired and revered for their expertise and use of ivory, horn and other fine wood. As a testimony to their craft, some of these knives are permanently on display at the French knife museum in Thiers, France.
