A collection inspired by antique French household linen, this Classical Stoneware tableware has an earthy tone and is fired at an exceptionally high heat, making it very robust and suitable for everyday use but refined enough for entertaining. The earthy stoneware adds a rustic feel in contrast to the striking black monochrome lines. As each piece is handmade there will sometimes be some slight variation in colour and size, but we see this as part of their individual character and charm.

John Julian, a pottery studio and workshop based in rural Wiltshire, was established by sculptor Julian Sainsbury with a focus on small-batch production of the highest quality luxury tableware, serveware and kitchenware.
