A special gold lustre edition of the classic 1920's candy dish by designer Oswald Haerdtl. Oswald Haerdtl's designs are a challenge for both the connoisseur and the craftsman. These extraordinary candy dishes charm with a lightness that encourages elegant handling. The design was first made for presentation at the first 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. Designed by Haerdtl for Lobmeyr’s extraordinarily thin and delicate “muslin” glass, mouth-blown to a thickness of .027 inches. Sold individually.
