Handmade poreclain shalllow bowl. This hardworking piece can act as a roasting dish and go from oven-to-table or house everything from your weekly fruit delivery to house keys and loose papers. Each piece is pigment-tinted at slip stage to provide colour depth. A clear glaze applied to the interior leaving the exterior with a vitrified stone-like surface that becomes smooth with handling. Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and should be embraced.

Since 1994, Mud Australia has created elegant and timeless porcelian homewares from their studio in Sydney. Every piece is handmade using porcelain clay sourced directly from Limoges, France. Their work is something that on its own offers a minimalist aesthetic but lives happily in any creative space or interior.

CARE

Safe to use in oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (e.g. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your porcelain. To avoid glaze scratches, ideally your Mud porcelain will be stored in plate racks or with linen/felt between each item.
