These Niwaki secateurs have a big chunky catch at the bottom with a crisp action that’s easy to use, even with cold wet hands or muddy gloves, and the spring is well secured and never accidentally pops out. As with all Japanese secateurs, these have a simple direct action, resulting in a very clean, efficient cut. Combination yellow and blue grips signifies left handed, stand out the garden, and are great for when they end up in the compost heap. Suitable for cuts up to 0.7 inches. Blades are 2.16".

Keep your secateurs in top shape by cleaning thoroughly removing things such as leaf resin or rust, sharpening with a #1000 grit stone, protecting with Camellia Oil, and store dry. Avoid cutting anything too tough, your hands (and your secateurs) will thank you.
