REVOL BLACK CERAMIC ROASTING DISH

This black ceramic roasting dish from the Belle Cuisine collection has monobloc handles, guaranteeing unparalleled durability and an excellent grip. Black ceramic is a signature clay of the REVOL manufacture and has the same technical qualities as REVOL porcelain: non-porous, colored throughout, resistant to thermal and mechanical shocks, and retains heat. Available in three sizes: 13.5 inches, 11.75 inches, 10.25 inches.

Pierre Revol and his wife, Magdeleine, found REVOL in 1768 in the the Drôme des Collines region of France. The soil in this region is particularly favorable for working with clay: it contains high-quality clays and sands, but most importantly, kaolin deposits, which allow the creation of more durable pieces. The Revol family has been made up of manufacturers, traders, merchants, and master faience makers from father to son. For nine generations, the culinary porcelain company has been led by the same family and has maintained a strong sense of family tradition, dedicated to the craft and the company.

Dishwasher safe. Safe for use in oven and microwave. Resistant to freezer and thermal shock to -20°C. Not for use on stovetop, neither gas nor electric, or under a salamander.
